Work On Magic Kingdom’s Castle Forecourt Stage Is Coming Along
2021 is a very special year for Walt Disney World as it marks the 50th Anniversary of the resort!
With that in mind, the castle decorations are starting to come out and Disney is working on a brand new stage structure.
The Castle Forecourt Stage located in the HUB just in front of Cinderella Castle has long been the center of entertainment at Magic Kingdom.
Over the past few months, the stage area at Cinderella Castle is getting a brand new makeover.
If you’ve been following along with us you will have seen the construction of these area go through many stages from a simply iron structure to various layers of weather proofing being laid down.
During our visit to Magic Kingdom this week, you can see yet another layer of wooden planks being laid down on the stage and what looks like a drainage system.
On a positive note, it does look like a the project is inching ever closer to completion.
I would expect that we’ll see this impressive undertaking will be completed in the week’s ahead. However, as of going to print, there is no word as of yet as to what Disney might have in store for the new stage.
