More Images of Castle Decorations And Fantasyland Transformation
I thought I’d end my night here at MickeyBlog exactly where I started, by sharing some awesome images with you of the 50th Anniversary decorations going up at Cinderella Castle!
This morning, I gave MickeyBlog readers a first glimpse of the stunning golden ribbons that will adorn the spires of the castle as part of the Birthday makeover.
These ribbons tie in with the beautiful banners that are starting to go up around the castle walls!
It also fits seamlessly with Cinderella Castle’s new paint job in hues of pink, purple, blue and gold.
While only one spire had been decorated during our visit yesterday, today we can now see that a second has been unveiled.
Both golden towers can be viewed from the Fantasyland of the Castle with the newest ribbon being placed on one of the spires closest to Sir Mickey’s gift shop!
What is interesting is that construction crews actually remove the entire towers to add the adornments!
Once the golden ribbons are properly placed atop, the spires are then fitted back into place.
As we previously mentioned here at MickeyBlog, to tie into the overall aesthetic of the castle makeover, the shops located in Fantasyland adjacent to the Castle are also being made over in complimentary colors.
The buildings are being done up in rose hues and blue shingles just like the castle.
You can also see the golden accents on the steeples.
This whole area of the Magic Kingdom is starting to look so different while still retaining its familiarity.
