Tokyo Disney Resort Names New Hotel – Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel
We’ve got some exciting news Disney friends about a brand-new moderate-level resort opening at Tokyo Disney! This beloved Disney theme park destination just announced a name for it’s new Toy Story-themed hotel. It will be called *drum rolls please* Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel.
For those following along with MickeyBlog you’ll know that Shanghai Disney as a Toy Story-themed resort property (pictured above.) We wonder if there will be any similarities between the two! We do know that the resort will be 11 floors and feature 595 guest rooms. In the press release, Disney says, “The hotel’s exterior, entrance, lobby and other areas will bring to life the world of toys based on the the Academy Award-winning Disney and Pixar ‘Toy Story’ film.’.
This is super exciting news and will be the 5th hotel to open in Japan but the first moderate-level property. It will provide visitors with a new price point between “deluxe type” and “value type” hotels. For those familiar with the layout of Tokyo Disney, its located directly in front of Bayside Station on the Disney Resort Line. This means that guests staying at the property will have easy access to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea parks!
