Ticket Guidelines for Disneyland Resort Reopening on April 30
The Magic is finally returning to the Disneyland Resort as both Disneyland and California Adventure Park are planning on reopening on April 30th.
Disney just released more info on the new ticket guidelines that will be implemented upon reopening. See below:
As you prepare to resume sales of Disneyland vacations, we wanted to make you aware that current reopening plans will require Disney, travel professionals, and guests visiting the Disneyland Resort theme parks, to follow theme park guidelines set forth by the State of California. Please review these guidelines at https://files.covid19.ca.gov/pdf/guidance-amusement-theme-parks–en.pdf to understand California’s requirements.
Per the state guidelines, the name and contact information of each person who purchases a ticket to the parks should be collected for contact tracing purposes. This information must be provided by the ticket purchaser, who will serve as the main contact on behalf of his/her entire party. In addition, at the time a guest purchases park tickets and makes a park reservation, the purchasing guest must confirm that the guest’s party size will not contain more than 3 households and that the guest, and all members of the guest’s party, are California residents, since the guidelines limit theme park attendance to in-state visitors only.
We wanted to share these details with you now so that you have time to align your processes with these guidelines, as necessary.
More details about our reopening will be provided in the weeks ahead. We look forward to welcoming guests back to enjoy unforgettable attractions, see beloved Disney friends, and cherish special magical moments.
Similar to what we’ve seen at Walt Disney World, guests will need a park pass reservation IN ADDITION TO a ticket for the days you intend to visit the parks.
We do know that cast members are back at work at the moment and are test rides this month ahead of the reopening in 30-days time. Also, upon reopening, Disneyland attendance will be capped and initially restricted to California residents only. No news yet on how this will be enforced.
