Parks Booked for Easter, Limited Availability for Next Few Months
If you are considering a last minute trip to Walt Disney World in the next few weeks, we have some news about park availability that you should know!
Disney’s Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar shows all four theme parks are sold out for the upcoming Easter weekend and heavily booked for well into June! Currently, a park reservation and valid ticket or pass for the same park on the same date is required to enter Disney theme parks. Upon reopening Let’s take a look at the next few months in the screenshots below.
April
With Easter only two days away and many schools on Spring Break, this is a popular week for Disney crowds. There are zero park pass reservations available at any of Disney’s four theme parks for resort or ticket-only guests from April 2-10! Annual Passholders do have some availability, but this means the parks are essentially sold out!
Next week proves about the same, as only Epcot and Animal Kingdom show reservation availability through the week for resort or ticketed guests. A few Magic Kingdom reservations are available later in the month but the picking is getting slim!
In fact, Hollywood Studios has NO available park reservations for the rest of April unless you are an Annual Passholder!
May
While Annual Passholders have their choice of parks in May, resort and ticket-only guests will have a harder time reserving a place at Disney’s current most-popular theme park.
Hollywood Studios is ONLY available on most Saturdays and Sundays in May, with the addition of Friday April 21, for guests without an annual pass. Other park reservations remain available, with Magic Kingdom reservations going quickly.
June
The trend continues in June, as most dates show only “some parks available” for park pass reservations during most of the month for resort or ticketed guests. Hollywood Studios is 100% booked until June 19!
Annual Passholders, June is wide open for you. We recommend reserving and riding Rise of the Resistance as many times as you can!
Crowds
Disney isn’t alone in this crowd surge, especially since Easter weekend aligns with some of the most popular Spring Break weeks this year. Orlando International Airport (MCO) officials project 207,374 passengers will depart the airport from Friday through Monday, making this Easter weekend the busiest travel weekend since the worldwide pandemic began.
Pass Availability
It’s important to note that the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar is always subject to change. We’ve seen pass availability open up before, as slots can be moved around between the three category allotments if Disney sees fit. While the Reservation Availability calendar can be concerning, it’s important to remember that Disney’s theme parks continue to operate at 35% capacity. A theme park crowd of 35% may not be as crowded as you expect!
