Booze Is Coming To The Blue Bayou When Disneyland Reopens!
If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog then you’ve no doubt heard the news that Disneyland theme parks will be officially reopening to guests (or at least California residents) beginning on April 30, 2021! We expect awesome re-opening news to start being revealed during the month ahead and leading the charge is some interesting info from one of our favorite neighborhoods – New Orleans Square!
Get ready to raise those Hurricane glasses and shout “Laissez les bon temps rouler” as booze is coming to the Blue Bayou! Move over Pat O’Brien’s Disney revealed today that Blue Bayou Restaurant will soon offer new beverage options designed to “elevate the culinary experience.” According to the statement the new beverage menu will feature wine, beer and of course a specialty Hurricane Cocktail.
Other highlights will include a sparkling wine package as well as season updates to New Orleans Square’s famous Mint Julep’s non-alcoholic cocktails!
The new beverage menu at the Blue Bayou is pretty big news give that for most of its history, Disneyland park has been teetotal. We saw this change recently when Oga’s Cantina opened as part of Disneyland theme park’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge expansion and it looks like Disneyland may be looking to slowly introduce more alcoholic offerings to the parks.
Disney has confirmed that the Blue Bayou will be reopening for Table Service dining when the theme parks reopen on April 30th. For more details and additional menu updates reader’s are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog!
