Your Guide To Using The New Disney MagicMobile Technology at Walt Disney World
I am so excited to announce that the first feature of the new Disney MagicMobile technology – contactless theme park entry – is now live at Walt Disney World! This morning, the new feature rolled out for Apple devices including iPhones and Apple Watches but will be available soon for other devices.
If you can’t wait to get started using the new Disney MagicMobile technology at Walt Disney World, I am here for you! Here are a few helpful hints to get the Disney MagicMobile service started on your smart device:
1. Create Your Customized Digital Pass
With the new technology, Guests can create a Disney MagicMobile pass thorough their My Disney Experience app. Once you create that, you can add it to your Wallet app on your iPhone or digital wallet on other smart devices. You can then make the digital pass your own with customization options that include several Disney-themed designs that animate when you use them. (There are even exclusive options for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members!) Multiple passes can even be stored on a single device which makes it a great option for families too.

2. Easily Enter the Parks and More
With the new Disney MagicMobile digital pass ready to go, you can enter your favorite Walt Disney World theme park by simply holding your iPhone, Apple Watch, or other smart device to an access point, just like you would with your MagicBand. And, with Express Mode on your iPhone or Apple Watch, you do not even have to wake/unlock your smart device or open your app to use the Disney MagicMobile digital pass. As always, a valid theme park admission must already be linked to your account.
3. My Disney Experience App Enhancement
With the latest My Disney Experience App update, Guests will now be able to automatically link your Disney PhotoPass attraction photos and videos to your account through your smartphone. And, as a reminder, your My Disney Experience app also acts as a digital key that allows you to unlock your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room directly from your smartphone.
The Disney MagicMobile technology was designed to be used interchangeably with MagicBands and Keys to the Worlds cards to provide your with the most flexibility during your visit. Disney will also continue to release more MagicBand designs and colors!
