VIDEO: Max Simkins, Star of Disney+’s New Mighty Ducks Series Shares Awesome Words of Inspiration
If you’ve yet to check out the NEW! series of The Might Ducks: Game Changers on Disney+, there is no time like the present! And to put you in the mood as well as to inspire, we’ve got a special treat for your Thursday afternoon.
Actor Maxwell Simkins from the all new series, recently paid a visit to Walt Disney World. During his family vacation, he popped over to ESPN Wide World of Sports where he shot a video detailing how important it is to have a love of the game and to play with heart no matter if you win or lose.
For those unfamiliar, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers is a 10-episode series now on Disney+. It is set in present day Minnesota where the Mighty Ducks have evolved from the underdogs to an ultra-competitive powerhouse youth hockey team. When 12 year-old Evan Morrow (Brady Noon) is cut from the Ducks, he an his mom Alex (Lauren Graham) set out to build a new team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-coasts culture of youth sports today! We’re also pleased to announce that none other than Emilio Estevez (Gordon Bombay) will be back to reprise his role as the coach who gets his kids to fall in love with the game despite the odds!
New episodes of The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers air every Friday on Disney+. You can also watch the original triology of Mighty Ducks films on Hulu and ESPN+ for a limited time!
