The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Agent Carter?
Sorry for the clickbait headline. And, if you are very spoiler averse, it might make sense to go elsewhere.
However, Agent Sharon Carter has been front and center for most of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier marketing materials.

And, frankly, I have wondered what happened to Peggy Carter’s grandniece after Cap, well – ended up with Peggy rather than Sharon.
As Johnny Carson would say, “Weird, wild, stuff…”
Emily VanCamp Returns to the MCU
TVline.com caught up with Malcolm Spellman, the writer and executive producer of The Falcon and The Winter soldier, who explained that we’re in for a different Agent Sharon Carter (as portrayed by Emily VanCamp.
“She is flipped,” said Spellman to TVLine. “If the fans watch Civil War, they can fill in the blanks on what Sharon probably had to deal with. And so, when we meet Sharon, she has definitely evolved. She has definitely grown up. I think fans are gonna love her, just her energy is so different now.”
Meanwhile, VanCamp, Sharon herself, told Marvel.com’s cameras (as quoted by ComicBook.com), “It’s so much fun working with these guys, so I’m just happy to be back and excited for everyone to see it…”
Rough Around The Edges
She gave more depth to that “different energy” during an interview with Good Housekeeping.
“When we see her now, she’s a little rough around the edges. She’s been on the run, she’s had to take care of herself, she mentions that in Civil War that she has to disappear for a little while, and I think here we get a little sense of what she’s been up to and how she’s had to fend for herself and make her own way in this new world,” said VanCamp, whose character, Sharon, was dusted during the blip. “It’s a very, very different Sharon … You can imagine that there’s a little bitterness there.”
I can’t imagine why?
