Disneyland Marquee Ears Wow Us in Downtown Disney
Our excited MickeyBloggers are in California this week for Disneyland’s “A Touch of Disney” event and they spent last night exploring Downtown Disney!
One of our favorite finds is a set of unique blue Disneyland Main Entrance marquee ears!
No bows here! The pale blue sequined ears feature the classic Disneyland entrance sign across the front, with each letter showcased on a classic, glittery pastel tone.
Fans of classic Disney icons are sure to appreciate the throwback to the 1958 Disneyland marquee, which stood above the Harbor Boulevard entrance for over three decades.
The blue headband features a pink velvet lining. “The Happiest Place on Earth” is embroidered across the band in the same font the main entrance marquee featured in the 1980s, before the sign was replaced in 1989.
The flags that once topped the real marquee are represented here with a small pink flag next to the embroidered lettering.
These gorgeous Disneyland ears retail for $29.99 and at World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District.
We think these are sure to be a big hit with Disney history lovers! Here’s hoping they become available on shopDisney so us east coasters can snag a pair too!
