New Face Coverings Sign at Disney Springs Parking Garage
New signage about face coverings was seen at a Disney Springs parking garage yesterday. It is just giving a reminder about what masks are not required.
Walt Disney World released the following guidelines for appropriate face coverings:
- Fully cover an individual’s nose and mouth and allow the Guest to remain hands-free
- Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
- Be secured with ties or ear loops
- Be made of breathable material, either disposable or reusable
Costume masks are not considered appropriate and are prohibited from being worn, in alignment with our existing rules.
Disney has also recently updated their policy regarding wearing your face masks while in a dining establishment.
According to the policy change, guests WILL BE REQUIRED to keep masks on during dining experiences while you are waiting for food or not eating. This change specifically highlights that masks MUST BE worn while standing, waiting or sitting at dining locations.
Here at MickeyBlog we took to disneyworld.com and can confirm that the update has been made and currently appears on the site.
