BREAKING: Disney World NOW Requiring Diners To Wear Masks Even While At Your Table
We’ve got some interesting Disney news for your Friday evening. Disney World has updated their policy regarding wearing facemasks during dining experiences at Walt Disney World.
The policy update was discovered by writer Brooke Geiger McDonald who took to Twitter with the news see below.
Walt Disney World has made significant updates to mask guidelines for dining locations:

According to the policy change, guests WILL BE REQUIRED to keep masks on during dining experiences while you are waiting for food or not eating. This change specifically highlights that masks MUST BE worn while standing, waiting or sitting at dining locations.
Here at MickeyBlog we took to disneyworld.com and can confirm that the update has been made and currently appears on the site.
You’ll find the policy here.
For those unfamiliar, the original dining policy stated that guests could remove masks once seated at your table. Now it has been tightened up to specify that masks can be removed ONLY when eating or drinking. As of going to print, Disney has not given a reason for the change. We would suspect it has something to do with the length of time guests are spending at tables or perhaps and upcoming move to increase the occupancy at restaurants. But at the moment that is just speculation.
