Kat Dennings Given List About What She Can’t Say By Marvel
WandaVision is gearing up towards its final episodes and with so many questions still unanswered, a wild ride lays ahead. It appears we now know how Marvel managed to keep so many secrets under wraps, thanks to Kat Dennings.
The star appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, albeit virtually, and opened up on her feelings towards reprising her role of Darcy Lewis and how so many secrets are kept revolving around the show.
Ellen told Dennings that her DJ “tWitch” is obsessed with the show, to which he responds wishing he could ask her 1,000 questions.
“You know, they [Marvel] sends us a thing of what we can’t say, instead of what we can say,”
The actress laughs in her response. As extreme as this may seem, the strictness revolving around the show makes an awful lot of sense, especially considering some Marvel alumni have a history of accidentally letting spoilers slip. (We’re looking at you Tom Holland!)
Marvel has not been playing around when it has been coming to spoilers for WandaVision. The studio fired Spanish voiceover actor Rodri Martin when he announced on social media that he would be voicing over the role of Quicksilver in the TV series.
Fans were already speculating on the return of Pietro Maximoff which was confirmed when Martin broke his confidentiality agreement.
Dennings also told about her excitement to return to the Marvel universe, stating that she was extremely surprised when she got the call and even more so when she knew the project she was returning for was WandaVision.
“only because Darcy had had no interaction as a character with anyone in the world WandaVision at all, so I was like, ‘Wow, that was the last show I excepted to be a part of.'”
We’re certainly excited that Darcy has returned, and we can’t wait to see what the future for Dennings is with Marvel after WandaVision wraps up.
