Construction Work Continues at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Your MickeyBlogger was on the scene at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort today where we had a chance to see how the construction is going on the Main Ceremonial House specifically to the monorail station.
The Poly is going through an extensive refurb just now. Renovations include updating the monorail station, sprucing up the decor in the Main Ceremonial House and creating a new Porte Cochere.
You can see that the existing platform has been removed to make way for these exciting updates!
You can see the steal framework for the new Porte Cochere as well as the decorative wooden beams that were recently replaced on the Great Ceremonial House.
You can see above the monorail breezing through the construction zone.
In addition to construction on the main building of the property the guest rooms are getting a Moana makeover!
More work will be carried out inside the ceremonial hall including new mid-century suspended lights in keeping with the awesome tiki-style decor.
We will continue to track the progress of the changes being made over at the Polynesian! Readers are encouraged to keep following along with us for further news and updates!
