Tornado Watch Issued For Area Surrounding Walt Disney World
For all of those out and about at Walt Disney World this evening do pay attention to the weather! One of our beloved MickeyBloggers resides nearby and has just received warning of a Tornado Watch that is in effect for Walt Disney World Resort and the surround area until 12 am tonight.
You can take a look at the notification below:
Guests should note that a Tornado Watch DOES NOT mean that tornados have been spotted in the area. It does however mean that weather conditions are optimum for tornados. If you do see the status go from watch to warning it does mean that tornados have been spotted and guests should take shelter immediately!
As you can see from the notification above, the watch went into effect at 4:25pm. Impacted areas include counties: Lake, Orange (where Disney is located) and Seminole Volusia.
