Star Wars Actress Trisha Noble Reportedly Passes Away At the Age of 76
Veteran Australian actress and singer Trisha Noble has reportedly passed on after a long and hard-fought battle with Mesothelioma. Her death comes, according to the Daily Mail, from tumor-induced complications caused by exposure to asbestos. The performer was 76, and passed on January 23rd; just days before her 77th birthday.
The actress is remembered by the Disney family for her roles in two of the Star Wars prequel films. Although one of the roles was deleted, and the other brief; Noble is recognized for her lengthy, and diverse, career.
Noble was cast to play the mother of Padme Amidala, named Jobal Noberrie, was written into the second and third episodes of the Star Wars saga.
Her scenes were cut from the theatrical release of the second episode, Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, be can be seen in the DVD extras. Yet, she maintained a brief but noticeable presence in the sagas third episode, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
Born Patricia Ann Ruth Noble in New South Wales, Australia, got her start on a television series titled Bandstand. Her career would eventually evolve into the world of music. Going by the name Patsy Ann Noble, the artist performed throughout the UK and the US In the 1960s.
Noble is known for many of her television roles; such as her starring role as Rosie Johnson in the police driven series Strike Force, and her role as Miss Jacobs, or Mrs. Crown, in Australian produced Ladies in Black.
