D23 Shares Exclusive Look at Raya, Falcon and the Winter Soldier and More!
The D23 publication has displayed an exclusive look at a vast number of Disney related content coming in the next year. From an exclusive look at the new slate of Disney films and series; D23 has given fans much to be excited for, while also satisfying a bit of their intrigue into what’s next for Disney.
Fans are taken inside the creation of Disney’s new animated feature film, Raya And The Last Dragon. The issue displayed a beautiful wrap-around cover as a D23 exclusive that so brilliantly displays the beauty of the story for which fans are incredibly excited for.
The film follows the character of Raya. Tasked with the quest of saving her home from impending darkness, the young heroine travels to find the mysterious titular last dragon.
With Star Wars actress Kelly Marie Tran as the voice of Raya, and acclaimed actress, and future MCU presence, Awkwafina lending her voice to the last dragon, the film will see the Disney company continue to take a step forward in their inclusion and diversity efforts.
Tran and Awkwafina join the directors of the film, Don Hall and Carlos Lopez Estrada, to discuss the creation of the film, and the beauty, wonder, and adventure that lay await to audiences around the globe. The film will debut March 5th, exclusively to Disney+ subscribers as a premier access title.
D23 Gold Members have the option to own the gorgeous concept art of the upcoming film by artist and Disney animator Paul Felix, exclusively on shopDisney on March 8th. Gold members need to act fast, as the art is produced at a limited edition of 500 Units.
