Disney Fans Might Get Four New Trailer Releases During Super Bowl
It’s almost time for the Super Bowl and you know what that means – Disney is sure to be buying up some ad time to showcase the latest projects they have coming to theaters, theme parks and on Disney+!
According to a recent piece in CBR, the speculation is that Disney may debut anywhere between two and four new trailers for upcoming projects on February 7th.
A 30-second Super Bowl add can cost up to $5.5 million but Disney has regularly used this time to give viewers a glimpse of new projects in the pipeline. Though companies like HBO Max, Apple TV and even Netflix are sitting out the Super Bowl this year, Disney may use it as a way to promote several projects including new Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Solider, animated feature Raya and the Last Dragon which will debut in theaters and on Disney+, Black Widow which Disney is STILL planning on sending to the big screen as well as Loki which is another Marvel series heading to Disney+
According to insiders, Hulu (which is part of Disney) will not be running any of their own ads. However, they are expected to appear in a Disney affiliates bundle ad during the big game.
Last year, Disney ran adds for both Black Widow and Mulan.
