Large Groups At Disney Need To Split Up Due To Social Distancing
Ever since Disney World reopened last year, their policies and procedures have been ever evolving as the pandemic evolves. With that in mind Disney has recently made one such change to their policy on visiting the park with a large group. This information is helpful to know on everything from queuing in line to making those all important dining reservations.
Let’s take a look at the policy as it appears on DisneySprings.com:
As you can see from image above taken directly from disneyworld.com and disneysprings.com, guests traveling in parties of more than 10 are now being advised that they will need to split into smaller groups throughout your visit to make sure that the proper physical distancing measures are being following. This applies to waiting in line, dining and more!
Though we aren’t sure as of yet how this is being enforced in the parks, it is a story that we will continue to follow closely here at MickeyBlog and we promise to keep you posted as we know more! The policy isn’t new when it comes to restaurants. Many of Disney’s popular table service eateries have long required large groups to split up in order to make dining reservations. So our quick tip is that if you are making dining reservations through the My Disney Experience app, try splitting your large group into smaller groups of two or more!
