A Taste Of the Bahamas Coming to The Edison In Disney Springs Next Month
If you’ve never been to The Edison at Disney Springs you don’t know what you’re missing! And trust us when we say that it’s more than a nightclub. They have long served up some of our favorite Disney World grub. For Disney foodies whether your are a local or visiting next month we’ve got a culinary event that you won’t want to miss.
On Thursday, February 25 The Edison is offering up a Taste of the Bahamas from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. This awesome culinary happening will feature a multi-course tasting dinner. It will feature an intimate evening of creative dishes and craft cocktails with a bit of help from Executive Chef Deaundra “Dee” Rolle.
Chef is drawing from Bahamian heritage to present a masterful mix of traditional flavors from her home country combined with classic American recipes. Best of all, the dishes will be paired with fan-favorite tiki cocktails including sensational sips like rum runners, Mai Tais and daiquiri’s from The Edison’s esteemed mixologists.
Kick off your meal with appetizers like conch fritters with remoulade before moving on to mains like steamed snapper. Also be sure to save room for the delicious benne cake ice cream for dessert. Guests will feel transported to the Caribbean with every bite with Chef Dee on hand to describe the inspiration behind her creations.

APPETIZER
- Conch Duo- Conch fritter n’ conch salad with fritter sauce. Savory battered conch fritters with a tangy remoulade sauce paired with a salad shooter
ENTRÉE
- Steam Snapper Peas n’ Rice- Seasoned steamed snapper filet in a braised tomato sauce served over a bed of peas and rice
DESSERT
- Benne Cake Ice Cream- Fresh churned vanilla gelato with brown sugar benne cake pieces folded in and topped with drizzled caramel
DRINKS
Each course will be paired with a hand crafted:
- Rum Runner
- Mai Tai
- Daiquiri
COST
The cost to attend this three course dinner and beverage pairing is $76 per person (before tax.) Guests must be 21 or older.

The Edison is located in the The Landing neighborhood of Disney Springs.
