Disneyland Cancels Annual Passholder Program
After 10 months of Disneyland being closed in California, they have officially cancelled their Annual Passholder program.
The following statement was just released by Ken Potrock, President of the Disneyland Resort:
We want to thank our Annual Passholders for their understanding during this closure period. Due to the continued uncertainty of the pandemic and limitations around the reopening of our California theme parks, we will be issuing appropriate refunds for eligible Disneyland Resort Annual Passports and sun setting the current program. We are currently developing new membership offerings that will utilize consumer insights to deliver choice, flexibility and value for our biggest fans.
At this time, Disneyland Annual Passholders who have held active passes as of March 14, 2020 will continue to receive applicable discounts, based on their pass type, on merchandise as well as food and beverages at select Downtown Disney District and Buena Vista Street locations until new membership benefits are announced. In addition, beginning January 18 to February 25, 2021, Passholders will also receive a 30% discount on select merchandise offerings at select locations in Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street Monday to Thursday.
All those who are having their Disneyland Annual Passes cancelled will receive a pro rated refund if you are entitled to one. Disney will be processing refunds as quickly as possible. For additional information, please CLICK HERE.
