Another Basketball Bubble is Coming, The NBA G League Tips Off Next Month at Walt Disney World
The NBA really loves Walt Disney World as it was just announced that the NBA G League will be forming a Bubble at the Resort beginning in February.
The newest Bubble will feature 17 NBA G League Teams as well as the G League Ignite. Just like the NBA Bubble that was at Walt Disney World over past Summer, all games will take place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

The NBA G League Teams participating in the Walt Disney World Bubble are as follows:
- Agua Caliente Clippers (LA Clippers)
- Canton Charge (Cleveland Cavilers)
- Delaware Blue Coats (Philadelphia 76ers)
- Erie BayHawks (New Orleans Pelicans)
- Fort Wayne Mad Ants (Indiana Pacers)
- Greensboro Swarm (Charlotte Hornets)
- Iowa Wolves (Minnesota Timberwolves)
- Lakeland Magic (Orlando Magic)
- Long Island New (Brooklyn Nets)
- Memphis Hustle (Memphis Grizzlies)
- Oklahoma City Blue (Oklahoma City Thunder)
- Raptors 905 (Toronto Raptors)
- Rio Grande Valley Vipers (Houston Rockets)
- Salt Lake City Stars (Utah Jazz)
- Santa Cruz Warriors (Golden State Warriors)
- Winchester Knicks (New York Knicks)

NBA G Leagur President, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, said the following, “We worked closely with our teams, the Basketball Players Union, and public health experts to develop a structure that allows out teams to gather at a single site and safely play.” He went on to say, “We are thrilled to get back to basketball and fulfill our mission as a critical resource for the NBA in developing players, coaches, refereed, athletic trainers, and front-office staff.
“Our Cast Members are eager to work with the NBA family again and welcome in the next round of talented basketball players to compete at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex,” said Faron Kelley, Vice President of Disney Sports. “Most importantly, Disney and the NBA G League will continue our shared focus on the necessary safety protocols for the well-being of the players, coaches, staff, and everyone supporting this event.”
The NBA wrapped up a successful Bubble at Walt Disney World back in October. The NBA G League will also live at select Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and be subject to frequent COVID-19 testing as well as enhanced cleaning and sanitizing protocols.
It is unknown at this time which Walt Disney World Resort Hotels NBA G League Players, Coaches, and Staff will be staying at. But likely options include both Port Orleans – Riverside as well as Port Orleans – French Quarter. All-Star Music as well as All-Star Sports might also be in the mix.
