BREAKING NEWS: No More Extra Magic Hours Says Disney World
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog then you’ll know that moments ago, Disney World announced that they will be doing away with their Magical Express Service effective January 1, 2022.
In addition, Disney also announced that there’s another HUGE change when it comes to the way that Walt Disney World resort guests visit the theme parks.
Disney confirmed this afternoon that the popular Extra Magic Hours perk for onsite resort guests WILL NOT be coming back.
In an official statement Disney said that in celebration of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, they will be introducing a 30-minute early entry to ANY theme park EVERY day for onsite resort guests.
This will give guests an opportunity to get a jumpstart your day everyday. However, as Disney kicks off this new policy they will be doing away with the Extra Magic Hours benefit.
The new early theme park entry benefit is more in keeping with Disney’s Park Pass system and social distancing requirements in allowing Disney World to better spread visitation across all four theme parks while providing guests with flexibility. Valid theme admission and Park Pass reservations will still be required.
Details on this policy change are still trickling in. We promise to keep you posted, keep following along with MickeyBlog for further news and updates!
