ICYMI: MagicalNewsLIVE at Magic Kingdom
Stuck at home? Miss Disney World? Need a break? Need a change of scenery?
Well, we’ve got a treat for you!
On Saturday, MagicalNewsLIVE headed to Walt Disney World for a chilly walk around the Magic Kingdom. In addition, our host Nick later headed to Disney’s Grand Floridan to check out the Electrical Water Pageant.
Walking Around Magic Kingdom
So let’s dive in:
Firstly, Nick took a nice stroll around the Magic Kingdom. It was windy, chilly, and there were sunny skies. And as young Mr. Antonelle walked through “this happy place” we enjoyed the Orlando sunset and some gorgeous views of WDW’s anchor park.

Crowds were light and social-distanced, and during a tumultuous week it was great to see Liberty Square, a “Fantasyland Friends Cavalcade,” and a close look at so many spots around MK.

Then, wanting to get some warm good feelings (and get out of the wind), Nick headed into Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress. He sat down for a leisurely, fun look at the 20th Century, but then ended up spending more time than he wanted in the 1940s.
However, Nick got back on track immediately, and enjoyed several rides including:
- The Haunted Mansion
- Splash Mountain
- The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
- Pirates of the Caribbean

Finally, Nick exited Magic Kingdom and took the new walkway to the Grand Floridian Resort.
There, Nick walked the grounds and took viewers around the resort.
Then, as the temperature dropped, MagicalNewsLIVE took in some wonderful views of the Electrical Water Pageant.

And, as a bonus, Nick brought his camera into the Grand Floridian and showed us all around the gorgeous lobby of the main building.
