PeopleMover Refurbishment Extended Through the End of January

Last month, we reported that the PeopleMover appeared to be getting ready to start running. We witnessed Cast Members on the track pushing the cars and testing running them. 

It was rumored to debut this week, but that doesn’t look to be happening. According to the Disney website, the refurbishment will be lasting through January 30th. 

The fan-favorite attraction has not been open since the parks closed back in March. If you remember, the ride suddenly filled with smoke and Guests were evacuated.

I know I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it opens sooner rather than later!
