Beaches & Cream Closing Shop & Go Window This Month
Beaches & Cream at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort is an absolute mainstay for Disney regulars. People visiting Disney’s EPCOT resorts love stopping here whether it’s for their famous kitchen sink sundaes or an incredible tomato bisque soup.
As Disney continues to make changes to its health and safety requirements, you’d think that any restaurant offering takeaway would be here to stay. This eliminates the need to socially distance guests at inside dining rooms or avoids closures should more stringent dining requirements be passed to combat the spread of COVID-19.
That’s why we here at MickeyBlog were so shocked to see that Beaches & Cream seems to be doing away with their takeaway service!? Let’s take a look:
Now this one kind of snuck up on us and what remains unclear is whether this means that shop-to-go counter is being done away with permanently or whether this is due to a seasonal refurbishment. All we know as of going to print is that the shop-to-go counter will no longer be open for business beginning today December 20th.
As you can see from this image taken from the website, Beaches & Cream is still showing regular dining hours from 11:30 – 9:00 pm. This is for sit-down dining and we usually recommend advance reservations – especially over the busy holiday period.
We absolutely love having the ability to get some items on the quick at this classic soda shop so we’ll be following this story closely! Keep checking in with MickeyBlog for further news and updates.
