We’ve got some good news for travelers that like to get to Orlando on the cheap. Orlando International Airport took to twitter this afternoon to announce that Frontier Airlines will be resuming 9 routes this month out of MCO.
This is good news for budget travelers. Frontier is known for its low-budget, no-frills flights. Check out the official tweet below for the routes that have been added:

That spells good news for those flying out of Albany, Bloomington, Burlington, Columbus OH, Des Moines, Green Bay, Pittsburgh and Washington!
In further news, the company announced that new routes will be added out of Orlando beginning 2021. Though these new options won’t necessarily benefit guests looking to fly to Disney from the continental US, it can mean that Disney World could be a stopping point on a trip that now includes destinations like Punta Cana, St. Thomas and more!
New routes being added are as follows:

One noteworthy addition that will surely benefit those on the East Coast are the new flights to and from Wilmington, Delaware starting in February of next year. Another noteworthy flight is from Ontario (California) and Orlando which would now connects Disneyland and Disney World.
Starting next February, guests will also be able to use Orlando as a stopping point before heading out to St. Thomas, Punta Cana and Santo Domingo Airport!
As you can see from the table above, introductory fares will be considerably less than some of the other commercial flights to Orlando. However, it should be noted that those flying with Frontier are charged for each carry on and checked bag which quickly ups the overall cost to fly with the airline.
