Gideon’s Bakehouse Teases Disney Springs Opening With Closer Look at Famous Cookie
Here at MickeyBlog, with debit cards clutched in our hands in excitement we are waiting for Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs to open their doors to Walt Disney World visitors.
Gideon’s Bakehouse is expected to open at some point in 2020 and with only three weeks left in the year we hope for an announcement any day now! Though that’s NOT happened yet, Gideon’s did take to Facebook this morning to tease that the opening is near and to share some insights about the bakery’s famous chocolate chip cookies.

Above you can see a picture of Gideon’s most famous cookie- The Original Chocolate Chip! The Cookie took 15 years to perfect and comes in at almost a 1/2 pound. As you can see from the image above, this cookie has a reputation for being overloaded with chocolate chips and also features real vanilla bean. The dough is placed in the freezer so that there’s time for it to soak up these rich flavors .
