BREAKING NEWS: Raya and the Last Dragon Heading To Disney+ and Cinemas in March
The Walt Disney Company Investor’s Day broadcast is underway and we’ve got some exciting news to share with you straight out of the gate. The first piece of news that we can share with you is that Raya and the Last Dragon Disney’s next animated feature film will be coming to Disney+ in March at the SAME TIME that it debuts in cinemas!

This is fantastic news for those excited to see the film (like we are) but who prefer to watch it from the comfort of your living room. However, one thing worth noting is that as you can see from the image above, it is sporting the “Premiere Access” logo. The last time we saw this was with Disney’s live-action version Mulan which skipped theaters and went straight to Disney+ earlier this year. This implies that there will be an extra fee for Disney+ subscribers to view Raya when it first comes out. For example, Mulan Premium Access, Disney+ charged an additional $29.99 to subscribers to be able view the film when it first came out.
Disney has not yet mentioned whether they’ll keep Raya at the same $29.99 Premium Access price point. This is a story that we’ll be following closely and we promise to keep you updated. In the meantime you can check out the latest Raya and the Last Dragon trailer below:

Raya and the Last Dragon follows Raya, a lone warrior from the fantasy kingdom of Kumandra, who teams up with a crew of misfits in her quest to find the Last Dragon — thus bringing light and unity back to their world. Cassie Steele will voice the lead character Raya, and Awkwafina lends her voice to Sisu, the Last Dragon.
