Holiday Shopping And Delicious Dining Offerings Continue at Downtown Disney
Although California regulations regarding dining may have changed recently, rest assured that the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort has adjusted accordingly and they, along with their retail locations, are remaining open for all of your holiday shopping needs.
You are sure to find the perfect gift for that special someone on your list whether it’s toys, apparel and souvenirs, home décor or Disney holiday collections, Downtown Disney has got you covered. Shopping always works up an appetite so you can find select retailers with food and beverage offerings that remain open for you to pick up and enjoy at home.
If the perfect festive spirit jerseys or headband is on your shopping list then you’ll want to stop by World of Disney, Elias & Co. or Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop. The Disney Dress Shop, Disney Home and Julius Katz & Sons have even more Disney treasures to discover!
Everyone needs a partner in crime during the holidays and the must-have gift this holiday season, a Spider-Bot direct from Avengers Campus, is now available! You can find Spider-Bots and some of the latest WEB apparel from Avengers Campus at both World of Disney and Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop.
Who doesn’t love shopping boutiques! Your sure to find the right fit for all of your shoes and sandals at California Sole. Plus, you can pick up adorable wall coverings and gifts with inspirational quotes at Sugarboo & Co. Other gift-giving stops include Curl Surf, Sunglass Icon, Sephora, Rinse Bath & Body Co., Pandora Jewelry and The LEGO Store. You’ll be sure to find ideal gifts for every member of your family!
You definitely need a delicious reward after making all of those deals! The good news is that select food and beverage locations are offering takeout options, including the following:
- Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes
- Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs
- California Churro
- Earl of Sandwich
- Jamba
- Kayla’s Cake
- Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express
- Salt & Straw
- Sprinkles
- Wetzel’s Pretzels.
Plus, Ballast Point Brewing Company is offering craft beers to-go and some very cool merchandise. For Disney-themed bites, head over to Marceline’s Confectionery and Trolley Treats to pick up seasonal goodies.
Please note food and beverage items must be taken to-go, for consumption off property only. Some locations may be offering modified menus, which are available to be viewed on the Disneyland App or Disneyland.com.
Current operating hours for the Downtown Disney District are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The exception to this rule is on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, so make sure to plan accordingly. Of course hours for individual locations may vary, so please check Disneyland.com or the Disneyland app for specifics and updates.
Lastly, be sure to familiarize yourself with our health and safety measures at Disneyland.com/DTD. All guests will be required to undergo temperature screenings prior to entry, and also wear an appropriate face covering (required for guests ages 2 and older). The number of guests visiting the Downtown Disney District and its locations, including the expanded shopping area along Buena Vista Street, will be limited to promote proper physical distancing.
