The Mandalorian: Goodbye “Jeans Guy”
The Mandalorian Mishap Is Now Missing
There he was. T-shirt, watch, jeans… “Jeans Guy” became a Star Wars sensation shortly after the premiere of Chapter 12.
Seen in The Mandalorian episode entitled, “The Seige” a member of the crew somehow ended up in a galaxy far, far away.
And, just like most Disney or Star Wars outlets, we covered the goofy gaffe:
But alas, Jeans Guy is gone. Unlike the stormtrooper who hit his head in a New Hope, and numerous other little “issues” throughout Lucasfilm history, Jeans Guy was cut out of the episode.
Goodbye Jeans Guy
Movieweb’s Kevin Burwick posted:
The blooper was on track to become bigger than the Game of Thrones Starbucks cup, but it no longer exists. Jeans Guy became an overnight sensation after Star Wars fans found him lurking in the back of a scene from last week’s The Mandalorian episode. The unnamed crew member could be seen during an action sequence featuring Mando, Greef Karga, and Cara Dune.
Movieweb cited our friends over at The Star Wars Underworld:

A few Star Wars fans went ahead and make fake action figures for Jeans Guy [see above] as the popularity started to spread. From there, he was included in memes. While fans got a kick out of the blooper, Lucasfilm apparently was not happy that it slipped through the cracks in the editing bay. So, sometime between last Friday and this week, the studio went in and edited Jeans Guy out of the aforementioned shot.
More About The Blue (Jeans)?
And Burwick asked out loud how might we learn more about how Jeans Guy “happened.”
“Now, he’ll have to live on through our memories and memes from The Mandalorian season 2, which will likely keep coming since Jeans Guy is still pretty popular,” he wrote. “Maybe he’ll be addressed in Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian Season 2, which is rumored to premiere on Christmas Day.”
That, of course, would be a gift.
