Marvel’s Hawkeye Takes Flight Soon
The hints were there, but a couple of social media posts point to Marvel’s Hawkeye’s filming beginning next week…
Who doesn’t love a good Skyler Shuler breakdown on a Friday night? Well, this guy is certainly into those scoops. And when it’s good Marvel Studios news – hey, there’s nothing wrong with that at all.
Case in point: The DisInsider posted, “Marvel Studios’ ‘Hawkeye’ Series to Begin Production Next Week.”

And the lede states:

Marvel Studios has multiple films and series in production including Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Ms. Marvel, Loki, Spider-Man 3, and now, you can finally add the Disney+ series Hawkeye to that list.
Jeremy took to Instagram sharing a photo of himself as the title character all beaten up and bruised, which could mean he has started filming but is most likely just a make-up test.

Then, Shuler also pointed out this tweet from journalist Chris Welsh:
Chris Welsh of TheVerge.com shared an image of a production notice titled “Anchor Point,” which is the working title for the series. It appears filming is also set to begin on Tuesday in downtown Brooklyn in New York next week.

Will Kate Bishop Show Up?

With some members of Hawkeye’s cast potentially reporting for duty next week, this should be good news for fans anxiously waiting to learn who will play Kate Bishop. Hailee Steinfeld was offered the role by Marvel but her schedule with Apple+’s Dickinson reportedly was causing some issues. However, there have yet to be any reports of other actresses discussing the role with Marvel. If Steinfeld or whoever will play Kate Bishop is going to be on set next week, then it is likely news of the casting will surface in some capacity. And whoever it might be, the on-set filming for Hawkeye in Brooklyn could provide fans with some early set photos of the upcoming series.
