BREAKING NEWS: Check Out The US Capitol Building Made Out Of Gingerbread
If there’s one thing Disney has become world-renowned for, it is their incredible holiday gingerbread displays. Because of COVID-19 social distancing requirements, Disney has opted to NOT display the gingerbread creations at the resorts this year but they make up for it with the positively divine gingerbread creation you’ll find at EPCOT!
This year, at World Showplace Disney’s incredible team of gingerbread making elves have whipped up a display so delightful that we are positively awestruck.
This recreation of our Nation’s Capital is sure to have EPCOT visitors of all ages feeling patriotic!
All of the 3-D details are absolutely impressive!
An not only is the Capitol building included in this awesome composition but you’ll find many other famous Washington DC landmarks.
Here’s a closer look at the Lincoln Memorial!
Behind it is the towering Washington Monument! Just look at the intricate brickwork! It’s incredible.
And here’s a stunning recreation of the Jefferson Memorial.
We think the Washington Mall is look absolutely breathtaking.
But its the Capitol building that really steals the show from any angle you look at it.
We also love that its perfectly decorated for the Yuletide Season with holly, garlands and little lit up trees!
In front of the display you’ll also find a board that details all of the ingredients that went into this stunning creation!
The display includes 3957 gingerbread tiles and 165 pounds of gingerbread!
25 lbs of chocolate rock was used and 1697 feet of pumped royal icing.
75 pounds of molding chocolate was used along with 15 pounds of coconut and 32 ounces of green food coloring!
There are also 13 hidden Mickey’s included in the design. Can you see any from our pictures!
You can visit the display throughout the holidays as part of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays!
