Let’s face it, princesses, real and make believe, have some of the most stunning jewelry in the world. And, if you have ever wondered what will be the actual cost of the jewelry your favorite Disney Princess accessorizes with, keep on reading!
Money.co.uk teamed up with David Allen of Purely Diamonds to give us all an estimate on what the real life cost would be of the jewelry Disney Princesses finish their iconic looks with. Let’s take a look!
Elsa from Frozen
Elsa has three pieces of jewelry from her coronation jewelry collection showcased in Frozen that includes a scepter, orb, and tiara. The total estimated price for all three pieces total is $798,903 which makes her jewelry the most expensive of all Disney Princesses.
Individually, the scepter is valued at $106,520 and made of solid gold. It features four sapphires weighing it at about five carats each.
The Snow Queen’s orb is estimated to be valued at an estimated $159,780 and also included four sapphires that are around 10 carats each.
For the crowning jewel, Elsa’s tiara is estimated to be around $532,602 with an attention-grabbing 20 carat sapphire.
Anna from Frozen II
From Anna’s coronation jewelry collection featured in Frozen II is a tiara with an estimated value of $233,013.
This Disney Princess’s tiara is set in yellow gold and includes seven carats of tourmalines, 12 carats of citrines, and 10 carats of diamonds set against a green enamel background. The tiara was designed to complement her sister, Elsa’s.
Rapunzel from Tangled
Our next Disney Princess is Rapunzel who is actually the first Disney Princess that was 100% computer-animated and therefore has the most intricate jewelry on this list.
The tiara features three opalescent moonstones that weigh in at a whopping 150 carats. You will see that the base of the tiara features varios rubies, pearls, emeralds, and diamonds that have been set in yellow gold. It is estimated that Rapunzel’s tiara is valued at an estimated $199,726.
Tiana from The Princess and the Frog
Tiana has two pieces of jewelry in her Disney Princess jewelry collection that has been analyzed by experts to estimate their cost.
To reflect Tiana’s intelligence and hard work ethic, expert’s suggest that the Apatite stone is used on her necklace. The necklace is estimated to be just $333.
Tiana’s colorful tiara, and as a nod to her time as a frog, features emeralds in the leaf details. And, like any fine Disney Princess, it has various diamonds to add sparkle and shine. The tiara is made of white gold and estimated to be around $133,151.
Aurora from Sleeping Beauty
Our next Disney Princess, Aurora, is one of three Disney Princesses on the list that was created while Walt Disney was alive. Here Disney Princess jewelry collection features a necklace and tiara estimated to be around $69,904.
Aurora’s necklace is a said to be made of 22 carat plated gold and likely costs $3329.
Aurora’s tiara is made of yellow gold and features a series of gorgeous Aquamarine gemstones. It is estimated to cost around $66,575.
Cinderella from Cinderella
Out next Disney Princess, and probably one of the most noteable is Cinderella. Her jewelry collection features those iconic glass slippers and earrings.
In the original Cinderella movie, Cinderella’s earrings feature a pair of pearls she wears to the ball. However, when she appears in Ralph Breaks the Internet, she is wearing the same diamond earrings surrounded by a halo of diamonds. Without the diamonds, the earrings are around $1598 and with the earrings, the earrings are about $1997.
Did you know that Cinderella was based on a folktale called The Little Glass Slipper? Well, Cinderella’s glass slippers in the live action remake of the movie are estimated to be valued at $53,260.
Jasmine from Aladdin
When Jasmine rose to a “whole new world” when Aladdin was first released back in 1992, so did her Disney Princess jewelry. Jasmine’s collection features three items is valued to be around $7323 total.
Jasmine’s most iconic accessory is her headband. But this is more than just some ordinary headband. It is said to be made of Mulberry silk and feature a 100 carat oval shaped blue topaz in a yellow gold setting. Experts estimate the headband to be about $2663.
Princess Jasmine also wears those two gold hoops with a matching necklace. Experts believe that both items are actually gold plated since solid gold would weigh the jewelry down and make it too uncomfortable to wear. It’s most likely that these items are silver and then plated with 24 karat gold. It’s estimated that the earrings are $1997 and the necklace is $2663.
Merida from Brave
Merida’s jewelry is going to be a tad different from other Disney Princesses. With a Celtic-inspired belt buckle and wristband, it has been designed to reflect her heritage.
While maybe not as “blingy” as other Disney Princess jewelry, experts believe that her accessories are made of gold and copper that was found in the ancient mines of Scotland. It’s estimate that Merida’s accessories are around $6658.
Mulan from Mulan
Our next Disney Princess, Mulan, has three pieces of jewelry in her collection including earrings, a necklace, and hair comb.
In Mulan, Mulan wears a pair of gold drop earrings and it is estimated they cost about $1332.
Mulan’s necklace is most likely made of Jade and features about 200 carats of the Jade beads. The cost for the necklace is an estimated $533.
Also most likely made of Jade and enamel, Mulan’s hair comb is estimated to be $333.
Moana from Moana
Moana was announced to be the 12th official Disney Princess back in 2016. And, I feel her necklace might be one of the most noticeable of all Disney Princess jewelry collections.
Moana’s necklace plays homage to nature by being made of twine, natural pearls, and “The Heart of Te Fiti.” The Heart of Te Fiti is a volcanic gemstone that experts believe is green obsidian.
There is the chance, that since these are naturally occurring gemstones, you could find them for free. But, if you aren’t so lucky, the necklace would cost you around $1265.
Kida from Atlantis: The Lost Empire
We first met Disney Princess Kida back in 2021. While she might be a little bit of a different Disney Princess than what we have been accustomed to, she has some fierce jewelry as well!
It is believed that her asymmetric gold hoop earrings are valued at $1132. You could totally catch me in these too!
Pocahontas from Pocahontas
For my history buffs, Pocahontas is the first Disney Princess to be based on an actual person.
Pocahontas wears a simple necklace that is also high recognizable. It is said to be made of turquoise with a hanging shell and is said to cost around $999.
Ariel from The Little Mermaid
For our next Disney Princess’ jewelry collection, we are going to go “under the sea” with Ariel!
In Wreck It Ralph, Ariel wears pearl earrings that have inspired brides-to-be around the world. While these are the easiest Disney Princess jewelry to replicate, there is a wide range on what they might actually cost: Between $67 to $666 for cultured or natural pearls.
It’s most likely that Ariel’s hair clips are made of sterling silver since white gold would be tarnished by the sea. It is estimates that these cost $67.
Belle from Beauty and the Beast
Belle keeps is simple with just a pair of simple yet oversized golden pearl earrings in Beauty and the Beast. It’s estimated that these cost around $399.
Snow White from Snow White
Our first Disney Princess, Snow White, also keeps is simple with a red headband. Said to be made of the best quality of red silk, the headband is around $87.
