Top 3 Relaxation Stations!
Relaxation Stations are an essential stop on any WDW vacation! Designated areas where you can take off your mask, Disney has created multiple Relaxation Stations in each of the Parks to ensure there are socially distanced spots that guests can freely remove their masks!
I’ve been to every Relaxation Station in every Park, and I have tallied the best of the BEST of the Relaxation Stations so you know just where to go when you need a break!
#3- Tomorrowland Terrace
Magic Kingdom is one of the toughest Parks to find a secluded area to relax. Being that it’s the flagship Park makes finding your own little nook pretty difficult…but that’s not the case in Tomorrowland!
Tomorrowland Terrace serves as a seasonal quick serve spot and also as the host location for the Happily Ever After Fireworks Dessert Parties. Since it’s not currently serving, Tomorrowland Terrace makes for the perfect Relaxation Station!
It made the top 3 list because it truly checks all the boxes. It’s outdoors, shaded, has big fans to cool you off, and provides amazing views of Cinderella Castle and the passing Character Cavalcades!
#2- Pizzafari
This long-standing, kid-favorite lunch spot has been serving up fresh hot pizzas for decades. In 2020 though, the kitchen is closed and Pizzafari has transitioned into a full-fledged Relaxation Station!
I love this Relaxation Station because it offers both indoor and outdoor seating- because sometimes you just need a cool blast of AC!
I also love it because it’s just steps away from the Animal Kingdom Starbucks! You are welcome to bring food and drinks into any Relaxation Station, so why not grab your favorite Starbucks drink (and giant Mickey-shaped cinnamon roll) and take a break to enjoy it at Pizzafari!
#1- Rivers of Light Amphitheater
Although Rivers of Light will not be returning to the waterways of Animal Kingdom, its amphitheater-style seating arena is still being put to amazing use.
Earning itself the #1 spot on our list, the Rivers of Light Amphitheater is by far the biggest and most spacious Relaxation Station in WDW! Both banks of seating are open, and both have been very socially distanced and free of crowds since the Parks have reopened!
The Rivers of Light Relaxation Station is the perfect outdoor spot to take off your mask, relax under the comfortably warm- but not too hot- Autumn sun, and it’s also the best spot in Animal Kingdom to catch the Character Flotillas!
