The Mandalorian: Chapter 10 – The Passenger
Another new episode of The Mandalorian hits Disney+ early on Friday. However, last week’s wacky episode bears another close look.
Did I love it? No. It was okay. Did it make me think? Oh yeah.
Finally, was I a little worried about The Child’s new favorite dish? Yep. Did I come up with a possibility beyond his being hungry? Yep.
However, before we keep going, let’s put up the spoiler warning.

Still here? Good.
StarWars.com continues to push the envelope in terms of giving us great background material for the series.
Bounty Hunting Highlights: 5 of Our Favorite Moments from The Mandalorian – “Chapter 10: The Passenger”
And Dan Brooks again sets the stage:
Following the Season 2 premiere of The Mandalorian, in which Din Djarin secured another set of Mandalorian armor, the bounty hunter and the Child continue their journey — but with an unexpected and terrifying stop. Here are just a few highlights from the episode!
Meanwhile, let’s highlight the favorite note from Chapter 10:
3. The chase.
As it turns out, you can’t free a New Republic prisoner and get away with it that easily. Two X-wings chase the Razor Crest through an icy terrain, and it’s Star Wars speed at its best.
Is there ANYTHING better than seeing X-wings in action? Nope. I loved the above chase.

Just like last week, there is pelnty of great stuff; from production art to stills to posters:
And the stills are gorgeous:
And, just to address The Child’s, um, diet. You guys remember that the “Doctor” in season one wore a cloning facility uniform. Okay. Do you remember what a cloning facility looks like? Do they remind you of anything?
Do you think, maybe, Baby Yoda was “collecting” the eggs. Remember (and for the life of me I can’t remember who said this first) our little green friend chewed on the spider egg. He swallowed the frogs eggs. Would it be shocking to see The Child “taking care” of a pile of eggs in a future episode? Hmmm?
Was it our friends from New Rockstars who compared Baby Yoda to Eleven from Stranger Things. I like that comparison. And I think our favorite space toddler has some remembering to do.
Anyway, until next week: May the Force be with you.
