Holiday Balloons Return to Walt Disney World
The parks are beginning to stay open later and after dark. MickeyBlog’s livestream revealed the beautiful castle projections on November 6th and the decorations at Hollywood Studios were equally as magical. The Christmas tree stroll at Disney Springs also lights up the night. It’s definitely looking more like those Christmas nights at Walt Disney World. And if you would like to take a little bit of the twinkle home with you, the Light-up holiday balloons arrived this week.
The Halloween balloons have been replaced with Mickey and Minnie in many holiday outfits. They are seen by the Christmas tree, on ice skates and hanging in the snow with their friends. Definitely a transformation into the winter wonderland.
It seems like the lack of SNOAP machines (machines that produce snow-like flakes of soap) on the tops of Magic Kingdom buildings means guests may not be able to experience snow on Main Street, but if you visit Disney Springs you most certainly will get to see it.
The Mickey balloons are an iconic Disney souvenir. Many of the Cast Members were selling out of their holiday balloon supply over the last few days. The standard balloons are $14.00 and the Light-Up Mickey balloons are $18.00.
If you are at the Magic Kingdom during the holiday season make sure to get a Mickey balloon and take a picture in front of the castle with her Christmas projections.
