My kids and their friends and, frankly, lots of my kids’ friends’ parents play Fortnite.

And, I’ll admit that seeing my boys do the loser dance down the hall of my house is not my favorite thing. However, Fortnite has me intrigued about its most recent Disney collab.
Disney+ Teams-up With Fortnite
Forbes’ Dave Thier, senior contributor covering video games and tech, posted:
A partnership with Disney produced Fortnite’s first sponsored content when Thanos dropped into the game in 2018, long before we had become accustomed to a steady drumbeat of licensed characters. That’s only ballooned from there, from the massive Star Wars event last year to this entire Marvel-themed season. This was, I suppose, the next logical step: a more straightforward corporate sponsorship. Disney and Epic Games are currently offering two free months of Disney+ through Fortnite, and here’s how you to snag it.
This offer will be available starting November 10 at 7:00 PM Eastern time, but you can start laying the groundwork for it now. You’ll get the free two months from any real-money purchase inside of Fortnite starting November 6 at 10:00 AM Eastern, so if you make a purchase inside the game right now, you’ll be able to use it to redeem your subscription when it goes live on November 10.

Keep Your Fortnite Receipt
However, there is a slight catch:
Once the offer goes live, you’ll have to go to fortnite.com/disneyplus to redeem. The site is not live right now, however. If you make any purchases now, I would also hang onto the receipt emailed to you just to make sure you’ve got everything you need.
“We’re always looking for ways to add value for our Fortnite players, whether it’s with gameplay or other types of entertainment experiences,” said Adam Sussman, President of Epic Games in a release. “Extending our partnership with Disney lets us further expand on that value, unlocking an incredible amount of entertainment for our players on Disney’s growing streaming platform, and just in time for The Mandalorian Season 2.”
“After years of a strong relationship between Disney and Epic, we’re excited to expand on our collaboration with the new Disney+ Fortnite offer,” said Michael Paull, President of Disney+. “We’re coming up on the 1-year anniversary of Disney+ and delighted to mark the occasion by extending the Disney+ experience and incredible content to Fortnite’s passionate fans.”
