The Muppets Bring A Seasonal Surprise To Liberty Square
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog this morning you’ll know that we are at the Magic Kingdom to share with our readers all of the exciting details of Walt Disney World’s wintry transformation!
So far, We’ve shared the opening ceremony featuring Mickey, Minnie and friends all adorned in their Christmas finery. We’ve also got a new souvenir popcorn container that dazzles and a some images of the Dapper Dans sharing some holiday carols with us. But if there’s one thing that really surprised us at Magic Kingdom this morning… it was the MUPPETS!
That’s right! Kermie and friends were on hand at their usual location in Liberty Square to give passersby a bit of a Holiday greeting!
They appeared among tinsel and trimmings and even dressed the part! Just look at Kermit’s fabulous peppermint striped bow-tie!
Fozzy and Sam the Eagle also showed up for a bit of holiday banter!
Fozzy even decided to do a bit of holiday decorating! Just check out the string of lights behind him.
He was also wrapped up like a present with his red and green bow!
Missy Piggy was in her element peering down at her adoring fans!
And she looked fabulous of course!
If you’ll be visiting the Magic Kingdom in the weeks ahead, be sure to be on the lookout as you pass through Liberty Square and you may just see a Muppet or two!
