The Country Bears Ring In The Season With New Holiday Attire
The holidays have officially kicked off today at Magic Kingdom, and even the Country Bears are in the festive spirit as they wave to fans in their holiday attire.
Although character interactions are not the same as they previously were, it’s certainly nice to see them wearing Christmas attire, even if only from afar.
The bears have even decorated the Country Bear Playhouse for the Christmas season with a garland to bring some festive spirit to Frontierland.
Big Al’s scarf is a perfect, complementary accessory to his usual red waistcoat.
Both Liver Lips McGrowl and Big Al donned white and red striped scarves on top of their usual outfits to ring in the season, although we’re not too sure how helpful a scarf would be when your body is already covered in fur!
Liver Lips doesn’t seem to be as fashion-forward as Big Al however, pairing the striped scarf with his usual polka dot banada.
We’re not sure whether this combo, or his Elvis-style Santa suit is a more fashionable choice. Either way, we still love him!
While it’s nice to see the country bears dressed up for the holidays, seeing the Country Bear Christmas Special show once again would be a Christmas miracle. The seasonal overlay ran at Magic Kingdom from 1984 until 2005, however it still plays in Tokyo Disneyland under the name Jingle Bell Jamboree.
