A virtual Ginger Jedi of practical effects and movie “covers,” today our hero channeled the most famous single scene from The Blair Witch Project complete with proto-selfie (but minus the snot drips).
Meanwhile, she dropped all the details she could, particularly regarding this week’s premiere of The Mandalorian, Season 2; Baver brought the good from around Star Wars canon.

The Mandalorian Virtual Red Carpet Premiere, What Scares the Jedi, and More!
This week, in Star Wars we announce The Mandalorian Season Two virtual red carpet premiere event, find out what scares the Jedi in a new look from The High Republic, and learn about Padawan Ady Sun’Zee from the upcoming Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge story “Temple of Darkness.” Plus, we jump back to 2002 when Star Wars: Attack of the Clones returned to theaters bigger and better than ever.

The Mando and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire. “The Mandalorian” stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez. Showrunner Jon Favreau serves as executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson, with Karen Gilchrist serving as co-executive producer.
Finally, the coolest news of the week came in the form of a fun Friday evening event for Star Wars fans.

On Friday, you can join Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and other special guests and ecstatic fans for a special Virtual Red Carpet Premiere of The Mandalorian presented by Verizon.
Starting October 30 at 6 p.m. PST and streaming on StarWars.com, Disney+ will bring fans together from across the galaxy to celebrate the launch of Season 2 of The Mandalorian.
