Bette Midler Gives Exciting New Details About Upcoming ‘Hocus Pocus’ Reunion
Tomorrow is the day all fans of the iconic Sanderson Sisters have been waiting 2 years for! The premiere of the Hocus Pocus reunion, In Search of the Sanderson Sisters: A Hocus Pocus Hulaween Takeover! And, to get us even more pumped for the highly-anticipated reunion, Bette Midler just spilled some details on last night on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Midler told Meyers that this virtual Hocus Pocus “mock-umentary” reunion will be much “more than a Zoom call.” Viewers will be treated to an all-new script that features the Sanderson Sisters, played by Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, alive and living in all the craziness of 2020!

During the Late Night with Seth Meyers taping, Midler also commented on the continued success of Hocus Pocus over the years. She said, “It was a picture that started off a little bit sleepy, but somehow it found its niche and became a cult classic and now it’s everywhere. I mean, I wish I had a nickel for every time someone turned out in a Winifred Sanderson costume.”
The Hocus Pocus reunion that will air tomorrow night, In Search of the Sanderson Sisters: A Hocus Hulaween Takeover! is part of Midler’s annual “Hulaween” costume gala that surports her non-profit, New York Restoration Project (NYRP). And, fans of Hocus Pocus are in luck this year! Usually, the event is private but since it is virtual this year, anyone can watch for a $10 donation.

In addition to the stars of Hocus Pocus; Midler, Parker, and Najimy; the reunion will also feature other celebrities including Adam Lambert of American Idol fame, Glenn Close as Cruella De Vil, Jennifer Hudson, Kenan Thompson, Meryl Streep, Sarah Silverman, and more!
