Gideon’s Bakehouse Is Hiring For It’s Disney Springs Location
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog then you know that Gideon’s Bakehouse is coming to Disney Springs and we couldn’t be more excited. The award-winning bakery has a cult following for its delicious and award-winning creations. The new shop promises to be something truly extraordinary and will be located next to Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar.
With all of this excitement, comes a need to up their staff. Gideon’s posted an Instagram message this week letting guests know that their team will be increased by 500%. Check out the post here:

With that in mind, Gideon’s NOW has a post on their website stating that they are currently hiring for their Disney Springs location.

Though Gideon’s hasn’t yet announced an opening date for their Disney Springs location, the shop is really starting to come together! As you can see an official sign has been put in place advertising that the shop will be selling “Cookies, Cakes and Curiosities.”
Since announcing their reopening plans, Gideon’s has been revealing a curiosity shop sort of aesthetic for their Disney Springs location and there was evidence of this during our visit to Disney Springs today!
As you can see from the images, the exterior of the building has a traditional brick building facade.
Given prominence on the storefront is an vintage bookstore/antiques sign.
We suspect the inside to be filled with awesome artifacts as evidenced by the Instagram post below .

As the backstory goes:
During the construction process, Gideon’s made a grand discovery in a small gap within a brick wall where they came across and old daguerreotype of the shop’s original owner. According to the Instagram post, Lindwurm was the owner of the bookstopand Gideon’s is coming up with cunning ways to make this character’s tale unfold while at the shop.
The signage outfront also showcases some of Gideon’s famous treats.

The shop is known for their nearly 1/2 lb cookies in a wide variety of standard chocolate chip to S’mores and everything in between. The also serve up delicious cakes like the Chocolate Everything cake that comes with deep chocolate frosting layered with pieces of Triple Chocolate Cookie then covered in rich chocolate ganache.
