Read an Excerpt From the Frozen II Prequel Novel
This weekend is the first Frozen II Virtual Fan Fest. Frozen II expanded the story of Anna and Elsa and their world of Arendale. It was received by Frozen fans enthusiastically and became the highest grossing animated film of all time. Before you participate in the Frozen II Fan Fest on October 18th, here is an excerpt from the new Prequel Novel.

The book, Frozen 2: Dangerous Secrets: The Story of Iduna and Agnarr by Mari Mancusi fills in some of the blanks left by Frozen II. Collider.com reached out to the author and she had this to say:
“I think that’s just the beginning. This is more than just a prequel. It’s an extension of the Frozen universe and readers will find many themes from the films carried over into the book. Iduna and Agnarr’s story is beautiful, yet tragic and I think readers will recognize a lot of Elsa and Anna in both of them,” (collider.com)
She warns us to grab the tissue box. Mancusi says she cannot read the end without tearing up and she wrote the book. The novel will be available November 3rd, but if you would like more information you can visit the Frozen Fan Fest website.
Here is a portion of the excerpt:
I was on the verge of leaving when I heard a weak cry. Whirling around, my eyes widened as I spotted a crumpled figure splayed out against a large boulder. Blood seeped from a cut in the person’s head, pouring down the rock, darkening the earth below. There was so
much blood that it took me a moment to recognize him. But when I did, I gasped.
It was the boy. Agnarr. And he was badly hurt.
