Get Ready For a Virtual PlayDate With Fellow Frozen Fans
Frozen fans mark your calendars for October 18th. This year’s Frozen playdate is going to be virtual and millions of Frozen fans will come together to sing “Let it Go” or will they sing “Into the Unknown” or both? There are only a few days to get ready, watch the movies (again) and settle in for an entire day of Frozen mania with some Frozen maniacs.
Ayesha Curry will host the virtual Frozen playdate. According the Disney Parks Blog, “The event will feature an entire day’s worth of new and curated content you can enjoy right from the comfort of your own home, complete with digital adventures and immersive activities featuring exciting new product offerings inspired by “Frozen 2.””
At the end of the day, viewers will get a very special look at the new Disney short “Once Upon a Snowman” debuting on Disney+ on October 23rd. During the event, the directors of the short will hold a tutorial on how to draw Olaf.
Also included in the festivities will be Frozen Fashion Week, some Frozen choreography, a few sing-a-longs, a few special guest appearances and even a chance to learn how to sign “Show Yourself” from members of the American Sign Language community.
New merchandise from shopDisney.com, LEGO, Party City, and Hasbro will be featured.
Make sure to visit the Frozen Fan Fest page for a complete list of all the festivities. The Virtual Playdate is for one day only, October 18th, and will begin at 9am PST. See you there!
