Virtual Event Will Celebrate 20 Years of Disney Pin-Trading
Pin-Trading has been a huge part of visiting Disney parks and the Disney culture for guests of all ages. Since COVID-19, pin-trading has looked a little different at Disney. But, Disney pin-traders can still celebrate 20 years of trading pins in a virtual event created by Disney to celebrate this coveted pastime.
On November 13th and 14th, Pin-traders can connect through the virtual event to share memories of Disney pin-trading. This event will also give collectors access to special anniversary pins to purchase, video content on special pin topics, downloadable celebratory art and a way to interact with other pin fans.
According to Disney Parks Blog the virtual event will be, “Honoring the past 20 years, pin traders will have the chance to discover and purchase from a unique collection of pins created for this event, including over two dozen new products! This assortment includes items featuring classic Disney characters, our spookiest favorites, and Disney Parks around the world, just to name a few…”
As part of the 20th anniversary symbol, the emerald color represents two decades of pin trading. It is a color that is present on many of the special commemorative pins that will be available during this virtual event.
Registration for the virtual event begins this Wednesday, October 7th at 1pm EST. Click here for more details regarding the event. Virtual Event tickets limited to availability. No discounts will be offered in conjunction with this ticket. All elements of the event are subject to change or cancellation without notice.
