According to a recent report in ComicBook.com, after the attack, Moranis did seek out medical attention for pain to his head, back and hip. However, once leaving the hospital he went to the NYPD’s 20th Precinct to report the assault to the authorities. According to a spokesman for the actor he is “grateful for everyone’s thoughts and well wishes.”
There was a lot of buzz a few months back about Moranis returning to the screen as part of a Honey I Shrunk The Kids remake that Josh Gad was also reportedly working on. This was HUGE news given that Moranis famously took a lengthy break from acting to raise his children after his wife died of cancer back in 1997.
Our thoughts go out to Rick Moranis and we wish him a speedy recovery. This is a story that we’ll continue to update if we here more so keep following along!
