it’s a small world Exterior Refurb Begins
The usually bright and welcoming facade of it’s a small world hasn’t been looking quite like it’s shiny, happy self lately. The sun-faded exterior it’s a small world has been wrapped in construction coverings, marking the start of a refurbishment!
Although the refurb and paint job is much-needed, Disney hasn’t given the construction wrapping the usual ‘plus’ that we’re used to seeing in the Parks.
Disney usually paints the facade of buildings onto the construction wraps to avoid taking guests out of the immersion…and that one big piece of Disney’s usual immersion techniques is certainly missing here.
Looking starkly white amidst the exciting colors of Fantasyland, the facade isn’t the only thing that looks different near the attraction.
An Extended Queue
The queue for it’s a small world has also received a bit of a change.
Now, you can expect to find the end of the queue over near the Tangled Restrooms.
A small handicap logo shows guests to the now-hidden disability entrance.
Don’t worry though, behind those white walls, the happiest cruise that ever sailed is still embarking from Fantasyland!
I for one can’t wait to see the reveal of it’s a small world’s newly refurbished facade! Is it’s a small world on your ‘must-do’ list when you visit WDW? Leave me a comment and let me know!
