The Grand Floridian Society Orchestra Shares Last Pic of Band
The Grand Floridian Society Orchestra just shared via their Facebook page the last photo taken of them at their last location at the Grand Floridian.
The band announced on Saturday that they will play their final show at Disney on October 3rd. After 32 years of playing together, Disney has decided to end their run.
The band captioned the photo with: “This is our last photo as GFSO members (both bands) at our last location at the Grand Floridian. (7/26/20). Front row L to R:

End of An Era
The band shared on Saturday, ““The company brought us out of furlough, changed our name to ‘The Disney Society Orchestra,’ closed us out of the GF to play a show of Disney themed show tunes at the Theater of the Stars in Hollywood Studios.”
Sad Reaction
Fans of the band shared their disappointment with the decision Disney has made by commenting on the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra’s Facebook posts. The comments comprised of thoughts of sadness, anger at Disney, and the great memories guests have of the band.
October 3rd will be their last show together as a band. MickeyBlog has a park pass reservation for Hollywood Studios that day and will make every effort to bring their last show to you live as it happens.
