We’ve Got A Soft Spot For These New Carl and Ellie Funko Pop Figures
New York Comic-Con 2020 isa happening virtually in just a few weeks (October 8 – October 11) and that means that companies are starting to unveil some incredible merchandise that will be showcased at this year’s event. Queue Funko who has been teasing us on Twitter with some of the new figures coming your way!
We’ve got a handful of Disney and Star Wars options to share with you but we’ll start with the one that we’re the most smitten with – the Carl & Ellie figures from Pixar’s tearjerker – Up!

As you can see from the image above, this simply adorable set features a newly married Carl and Ellie painting their mailbox complete with hand prints. In what is a lovely touch you can even see the paint on Carl’s hand. Sooo cute!

But that’s not all, Funko also provided us with a first look at a brand-new 2 pack Star Wars themed bundle. The set features Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa and is taken from a flashback sequence in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

And the Baby Yoda Funko POP figures just keep coming. In this NYCC 2020 release, The Child from The Mandalorian is holding onto a necklace that features the symbol of Mando. It was given to him during the first season and is perfect for those getting excited about Season 2 of the Disney+ show coming your way next month!

Jiminy Crickets! Disney is also releasing a few Funko POP figures that feature much-loved characters including the always loveable Jiminy Cricket. The figure is seen floating down on his umbrella which is positively delightful.

And last but not least is the incredibly popular Stitch who is getting yet another Funko POP! incarnation. In this version he is wearing a chef’s hat and holding a birthday cake.
